the best option would have been if netflix could have taken everything except for hbo proper’s shows, and let hbo go to apple, then we could have all the Good™ stuff in one place and all the mid stuff in one place and i could continue not paying for netflix and not intermittently get apple
i don’t understand why people are upset the Netflix acquisition of WB will mean the end of HBO Max. how many of you are happy you have to pay double for two apps to watch things you like.

i think we need to couple automation of jobs with lowering of the hours of the overtime threshold, greatly increasing minimum wage, and greatly increasing taxes on top income and profit brackets for individuals and companies

Erik’s in Dinkytown has indeed closed. Wild as they usually had multiple day waits when I had used them. Thankfully we now how Freewheel nearby, but definitely a blow to not have this shop that was so centrally located for students.
