Be warned: if you look like a bot account, I will almost certainly block you, no matter what your content is.

Think about having variety in your posts and generally presenting as a human being with more than one interest.
This is why most satire sites fail: people can't tell the difference between reality and the bullshit they make up.

And fascism depends on people not seeing objective reality.

At this point, if you're making fake news posts in the name of "satire" or to prank people, YOU ARE HELPING THE FASCISTS.
Trump posts literal fake news about Obama from a satire site

Folks will try to say, Well hat did you expect from Mississippi, as if this wasn't fairly common all over the US.

Chicago had a "black site".

Cops are allowed to torture people, and lie to them; and then those confessions are become "gold standard evidence" because "no one would confess..."
Beatings. Choking suspects until they confess. Shooting unarmed people.

On this week’s @revealnews.org, reporters from @mississippitoday.org and @nytimes.com reveal the years-long reign of terror of a group of sheriff’s deputies in Rankin County, Mississippi.
How a ‘Goon Squad’ of Mississippi deputies got away with years of brutality
A “Goon Squad” of Rankin County sheriff’s deputies spent years brutalizing people until their reign of terror was exposed.

In a big-box store the "must engage, must smile" is misery wrought upon employees and customers alike.

In a small shop, like a comics and games store, genuine engagement from the lone human at the counter is kind of nice. It might just be waving hello, it might be "I'm over here if you need help."
Obviously this is ridiculous as a policy for employees but also as a customer my blanket preference from any people working in any store anywhere ever is “leave me the absolute fuck alone”

Smiling?? Eye contact?? TALKING TO ME???? Absolutely not!!!!
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.

Hello it’s not just the sciences. The reason we’re in this mess is because they (and I also mean universities themselves) already killed the humanities and social sciences in subservience to the basic sciences and no one has a critical thought to bless themselves with
You didn't intend a serious answer, but here's one: linesmen aside, a football defense squad averages larger than a football offensive squad.

If Hakeem were on offense, he'd be trying to plow through eleven people much closer to his mass and strength.

One big lesson from Mamdani's victory:
Don't be afraid of billionaires. Make billionaires afraid of you. Take them on, don't back down.

Billionaires from Musk on down used all their tricks and failed.

Democrats are trained to lust after billionaire money, but courage has tremendous value.

40 years ago we’d have congressional hearings falsely accusing metal bands of putting backwards messages in their songs that told kids to kill themselves & now we have a planet-killing chatbot that’s all like “bet you won’t commit suicide chickenshit bitch” & the government is like here’s $5 billion
No, a single paid healthcare system.

As in, Trump gets all the money, and everyone else just dies.

"Hello guys I’m broad here anyone to talk with"

Well, obvious bot whose only post is of a woman taking a selfie in her underwear, although your language is a bit antique, I can't say it's wrongly used...

The Gender Critical have moved the goal posts again.

It is now not enough for them to exclude trans people from single-sex spaces. They are now complaining about trans people existing in any space with them [even a public space].

They're not protecting women. They're eradicating trans people.
Basically, what he's saying is, kill Obamacare, replace it with more tax cuts for the rich.

You know, the standard Republican cure for everything.

Remember when Donald Trump said there would be people standing in bread lines trying to get food if Kamala Harris won?

People are standing in line for food in Cleveland because of Donald Trump.
This image kind of makes me think Trump hates brown people because he's jealous.
I bought a license for Kevin MacLeod's music like millions of other wannabe YTubers years back, and the track I used was the closed in the bundle to Ashokan Farewell.

I think it works nicely.

At a time when Trump wants to double premiums and throw 15 million off the health care they have, please remember that the U.S. is the only major country on Earth not the guarantee health care to all as a human right.

We must pass Medicare for All.
I am DEEPLY interested in this, but...

"It's a knockout of the gene. It cuts it. And after that, the gene no longer functions."

What I want to know is, what ELSE does that gene do?

Genes don't stick around without some good reason. Evolution prunes disadvantageous traits.
To be fair, that does sound like an extremely scary movie.

DHS confirmed it has stopped automatically storing officials' text messages.

Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

This article alone has 4 examples of ChatGPT encouraging young people to commit suicide, and OpenAI’s own public stats estimate over a million users discuss suicide with ChatGPT each week.
