The story about 53 immigrants who suffocated in the back of a box truck in 2022 has haunted me ever since. This is amazing reporting from Elliott Woods in @texasobserver.org.
I have blocked and unblocked the same person too many times tonight. I just can’t anymore. I feel like I’m in the pit of despair right now and I have to remember this is temporary. Stand strong and all that. It still blows my mind.
