Okay last squirrel post today I swear (I got to work early today so I was so excited to get out early, then I spent 40 minutes taking squirrel photos on the lawn outside of my office)

This Hermit Thrush is going full borb on a brisk morning.

Very round thrush, looking directly at the camera. It has light brown on the head, off-white on the rest of the visible body, dark gray light spots, and pink legs.

Same bird, now turned so you can see its red-brown wings and back and a redder tail. It is still very round.

“Our” little phoebe will sometimes land on this string of patio lights just 8 feet away if we don’t immediately see that it landed 20 feet away on the fence ready to catch a mealworm snack tossed in its direction. Ok, phoebe, yes I’ll get a snack 😂
