One is the Peter Principle: tech CEO promotes such as a programmer to a management position where the job is just to send 3 emails a day.

Suddenly that engineer is in a sinecure job, endless free time, and a direct line to the CEO about his weird ideas.

I had a double take moment boymoding at my previous job, but I dithered another few months and just used their all gender bathroom before diving in.

I survived. Nobody yelled at or confronted me.
