We are getting many indicators of a failing economy (increasing job losses, rising inflation, stagnant incomes, massive wealth gap) while the stock market is high and Wall Street people saying everything is great.

4/ Ok, so then the obvious next step is to negotiate a compromise. That's how we've always avoided shutdowns. And Republicans need to convene those talks, bc they're in charge.
