It's because with comments like this, one can no longer pretend he's "joking" or "trolling the libs" or playing a sophisticated 4D geopolitical chess game that we just don't understand. We all understand what this was. There was never much nuance but now there's none. Dementia does that to a person.
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

When I was 16 I had an outrageous and very poorly concealed crush on a 23 year old who was an absolute ho. I mean this guy really got around. But he steered clear. Even wrote a song about it that went "I can't really hold 'er cuz I'm seven years older". Guess who's not a registered sex offender now.
