Oh sure grandma lied to the doctor too. But she knew why she was there. Usually a broken bone (she fell a lot) or something uncomfortable. Maybe less so for the internal issues.

My grandma knew what she was being treated for right up to the ripe old age of 105, when dementia had taken nearly everything else away.
