I finally finished the top of a quilted table topper that I started at a retreat last year. I set it aside for several months and just made the last two blocks last weekend and sewed it together with the setting triangles today.

I find it sad that the primary sources for the past 30 years are mostly digital and probably won't be able to be read in the future.

On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

There are people who are legit happy when they type words and a computer generates something from it, but the beauty of making art, even poorly made art, is that a human developed a skill and a craft and brought their ideas and soul and life into it.
