On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

MA folks—your tax dollars are going to the child-killing plagiarism company that stole from nearly all of you to flood the world in slop. This is a baffling and insane thing to do at this time. Please give Healey absolute hell for this.

Of course it doesn't. There is absolutely no biological reason why it would. Just another scare tactic from the right wing.

There are people who are legit happy when they type words and a computer generates something from it, but the beauty of making art, even poorly made art, is that a human developed a skill and a craft and brought their ideas and soul and life into it.

The product is just a manifestation of that.

When I feel charitable, what really makes me feel bad for people who are outsourcing their potential for creativity to RNG text machines is this:

The process of art, not the product of art, is what makes it worthwhile. The value of art is the artist's experience and transformation making it.

one thing I find ridiculous is that people claim to find AI so useful for "idea generation", when I and every other remotely creative person I know has more incredible ideas than they can complete in a few lifetimes.

If you need AI for ideas, no you don't -- you need to be more creative.

Ending this operation is not enough.

We need justice and accountability. That starts with independent investigations into the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, economic restitution for businesses impacted, abolishing ICE, and the impeachment of Kristi Noem.

We must never forget. I will continue to call it what it is and stand with the Armenian people.

Does he really not get that or is he just trying to bullshit us?

I’m assuming the latter.
