Just made our January health insurance payment for $1,873.34 (for my wife and I). This is for a bronze, high deductible plan. We'll be paying more than $22,000 in 2026 in premiums alone, and of course because it's a high deductible plan we will be paying a lot out of pocket.

I know it's unlikely to matter, but I'm confused. The discharge petition that Rep. Fitzpatrick filed that is supposedly for the ACA subsidy extension references HR 3001 which doesn't mention the ACA extension? Or it there a different discharge petition?

Reuters reporting that new admin instructions on visas are if you worked at a platform in trust & safety or content moderation or on fact checking or online safety at an platform you *and your loved ones* are ineligible for H-1B visa.
