Our current political turmoil flies in the face of what our Founding Fathers sought to embody in early documents: Unity

United we can vanquish the baser impulses of those who seek only our exploitation & oppression.

Democracy thrives on “participation, not compulsion” (borrowing from C.J. Cherryh)

What if we started showing up dressed like ICE in masks with 'full battle rattle" to their enforcement actions and confuse the shite out of them. Carry your passport and just swarm them with 10 or 20 fake cosplay ICE. "Pitch in" to "help". Get in their cars when they try to leave. Keystone Kop it.

Well he’s off to Mar a Lago for a lovely weekend where he will relax and eat like a king. He doesn’t care about the millions who won’t have food tomorrow. He doesn’t care that federal employees are not being paid.
He does not care about Americans.

Why’d it take so long, is what I have to ask?

God bless Virginia Giuffre. I can only speculate, but my guess would be that if she were alive today, there would be a social media campaign against her & a defamation suit pending. @lindseyboylan.bsky.social #epsteinfiles

I am certainly no seasoned strategist but I am a little skeptical of the political wisdom behind building a giant golden ballroom and sharing a dozen photos of a renovated marble bathroom at the very moment that millions of people are losing access to healthcare and food.

RM Meeks: Cutting the refugee cap by 94% while prioritizing white Afrikaners over our Afghan allies—who stood with us through 2 decades of war—& people fleeing life-threatening crises around the world is shameful. Provide a portion of every field for the poor, whether native born or migrant (Leviticus 19:9-10)

Open your mouth for justice, and plead for the poor and vulnerable (Proverbs 31:9)”

Caught a few minutes of people on MSNBC talk about the idea of putting homeless people in concentration camps as if it was just another policy proposal to discuss in terms of cost benefit analysis, and not, you know, a horrific human rights abuse that should be immediately rejected on principle.
