It’s been 21 days since Adelita Grijalva won her election, yet Mike Johnson still hasn’t sworn her in.

Why? Because she said she would be the 218th signature on the discharge petition to release the Epstein files.

Her constituents deserve a voice in Congress. Swear her in NOW.

Literally nothing coming from the Pentagon, DHS, or DOJ should be considered credible unless backed up by an independent source outside of government. (This, for the record, is a huge problem!)

This is no more lawful than if Iran / North Korea / whoever blew up a couple American yachts in the Mediterranean for suspected drug trafficking. On the legal spectrum it sits in the middle of a Venn diagram between overt acts of military aggression, state-sponsored terrorism, and simple murder.

So this is the first excerpt from my upcoming Tupac biography, "Only God Can Judge Me: The Many Lives of Tupac Shakur." It's the story of how we tracked down the baby from "Brenda's Got a Baby." Huge thanks to GQ for putting it out. www.gq.com/story/a-tupa...

An honor to receive the endorsement of
of nearly a dozen Black clergy leaders in Crown Heights today, including Bishop Orlando Findlayter.

I’m grateful for their support, and this powerful and humbling prayer.

Q: Politico reported on a group chat of young Republicans. Does this just reflect some bad apples?

HOCHUL: Some bad apples? These are the future of the GOP. This is so vile it's hard to find the words to put into context ... there's gotta be consequences ... this bullshit has to stop.

I'm sure the Supremes won't have any problem with this. It's what the founders certainly intended. Trump will be irreparably harmed if he can't ruthlessly punish his political opponents and any innocent collateral damage.

Just don't try to forgive student loans. That's where they draw the line.

Even PBS can't be bothered to note that something is a little ODD about giving such an honor to a billionaire-funded social media troll who spent his days tricking dim teens into believing sexism and racism was acceptable

not even a passing, vague reference to him being "controversial"

And a big reason for that is that rural America has outsized political power. Dems should've changed that long ago and need to rebalance things if they are ever in power again. Starting with new states like DC.

this is definitely true but it’s also true that it’s only politically acceptable in this country to mock cities or blue states. mocking rural/red states is seen as elitist and out-of-touch, even tho most ppl live in cities! as such, i think these rare moments have more staying power.

I'm generalizing, but why do conservatives remember political irritations for so much longer than liberals?

It's been 17 years since Obama said some voters "cling to their guns, to their religion" and I heard a senator denounce that last month.

Obvious theory: Media ecosystem puts it on repeat

DEM LEADERSHIP: That's fantastic.

"What are the next steps?"

DEM LEADERSHIP: Simple. Force them to step aside and throw their support behind this 80-year-old lifetime politician.

Why would Dems want to choose a 77-yr-old candidate who has no electoral incentive to answer to voters, instead of a younger candidate with that incentive & will give Dems an incumbency advantage in 6 years? It makes no sense why she is even running. She praised Susan Collins last month!

Trump just bombed six more people in the Caribbean, for a total of 27 civilians who have been killed so far by the US military. It’s illegal for the military to target civilians who do not pose an immediate threat. This is murder.
