🚨BREAKING: The White House Thursday refused to rule out the presence of immigration enforcement at voting locations this November, a response that follows extremist rhetoric about placing federal forces at the polls. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
White House ‘can’t guarantee’ ICE won’t be at polls
The federal government has historically recognized polling places as off-limits for immigration enforcement precisely to avoid deterring lawful voters.

I dunno what it is but the implication that an AWACs aircraft is akin to a sulking toddler or shy puppy brings me joy on a deep level.
Where you going, buddy?

I’ll be honest at this point DHS needs to be scrapped and its constituent functions necessary to national security need to be consolidated into a new agency at this point.

Russian soldier reporting on Russian recruitment tactics. They’re trying to lure young men away from college by offering them safe and easy positions in the military and then betraying the offers they made.

Between ICE and CBP there are around 80,000, let’s call em what they are Militiamen, there are 95,000 polling places. Let’s be generous and say they only do swing and dem districts/states ok 45,000 polling places.

Thats 1.7 ICE or CBP personnel per precinct.

I think we can take the em.
Steve Bannon,
"We're gonna have ICE surround the polls...We'll never again allow an election to be stolen."

It’s funny there was a period during the early parts of the war where literally all of Twitter would be aware that there was a strike coming because of the activation of Russian strategic aviation radio channels.
Guess Russia is going to do a cruise missile attack soon.

"A group of Tu-95MS aircraft are in the air, having taken off from the "Olenya" airfield.
Some...are being relocated to "Engels" airfield for the purpose of being equipped with cruise missiles.
The other part is leaving... to the Far East.

If they do this there needs to be a RESPONSE from the American people. One that makes it unmistakably clear that any such attempt or government sworn in on the results of such an election is viewed as illegitimate by 70+ percent of the population and that they’ll have to kill us all.
Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"

This is a common feature of many authoritarian organizational cultures. It’s why democratic societies function better in the aggregate and are less corrupt. Additionally more often than not corruption especially in the middle and local level is a function of the system and survival of those in it.
oh very familiar with this from Chinese business contexts too, including the perennial problem of 'who should we make sure doesn't know about this'
Many game studios have "shadow production", in which someone sets up a parallel (but functioning) system of organization to compensate for the inadequacies of whatever methodology the actual producer insists on employing; thus requiring an act of continuous translation between the two.

Exclusive: A U.S. official has alleged wrongdoing by U.S. spy chief Tulsi Gabbard in a complaint that is so highly classified it has sparked months of wrangling over how to share it with Congress, according to people familiar with the matter.

Congress hasn’t seen the complaint, which was filed eight months ago with the U.S. intelligence community watchdog’s office.

The Danes are a small country and lost more troops per million than we did in Afghanistan, they gave up 44 of their sons and daughters and fought well. This is and should be a moral outrage that cannot be understated.
Such is the outrage in Denmark over both Trump’s desire for Greenland and disparaging remarks about NATO that one of the country’s leading newspapers devoted their Saturday front and plenty of room inside to the bios of all 44 Danes slain during NATO missions in support of the US

The reason Napoleon won SO MANY of his battles and wars of choice was his deeply competent “HEAVY” staff that allowed him to partition his army into independent corp sized contingents that could act independently on a strategic, operational, and tactical level. His marshals were DEEPLY COMPETENT.
Dort is really dumb y’all. I love that the first reply I saw is from a former SAMS Director stating, “Actually, Napoleon created the modern staff….”

It’s a kleptocracy that’s by design.
She knows she’s the DNI right?

Hegseth mostly does push ups. Miller runs DHS and Latin America policy. Bessent rambles incessantly about NATO article 5. Patel posts on Twitter and jets around to his gf’s concerts.

Does anyone in this administration actually do their statutorily defined job?
New: Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, is leading an administration-wide effort to probe the 2020 election for fraud and regularly briefing Trump and top White House officials on her progress. Officials are discussing EOs on voting ahead of midterms.

An American city is not a theatre of war, fuck you, leave.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

Motherfucker shits getting wild.
Holy shit, there's an open carry #2A protest of ICE happening in Douglas County Colorado -- a very wealthy and very red suburb county of Denver. (I lived there for 16 years.) The Trump Administration pissing off committed gun owners sufficiently for them to join the protests against ICE is wild.
