What's the point of using AI if you've got to check its results for things like suggesting a ferry route that hasn't existed for 17 years? If you'll have to do manual searches to check on it's suggestions you may as well skip the AI and do the searches.

Isn't it a bit early for snow buntings, even that far north? We had our first whooper swans fly over today and we don't usually see those in Suffolk until late October or early November.

Websites using targeted adverts should be sensitive enough to allow opt outs for certain ads. Child loss is the worst case but their insensitivity applies to other grief. When I lost my parents I was grateful M&S allowed Sparks members to opt out of mothers'/fathers' day adverts. Nobody else did.

What frightens me most about Halloween cobwebs isn’t how they look…..it’s that they catch the living.

I was just wondering if a couple of modern tampons used in bullet wounds could empty the victim of blood. (Assuming there are entry and exit holes so you'd need at least two.)

Think of all the thousands of hectares of south facing slopes Milliband will be able to approve as solar farms regardless of what local planning authorities say is acceptable. If it's OK in the Fens it must be fine for the Lake District, surely, or are objectors only nimbies outside national parks?

Isn't it amazing when you learn of a person like Grace Hopper who's work has had an immense impact on how we live but is almost unknown outside their field.
She's the antithesis of Musk who's never invented anything, just taken the credit after buying other people's work, yet is famous worldwide.
