It's pretty obvious what's happening here. Meta is trying to push the responsibility for kids safety on to somebody else. Plus, their proposal won't really help. It creates new privacy and access problems.
And they might be overestimating how eager Canadian policymakers will be to help them...

It's pretty obvious what's happening here. Meta is trying to push the responsibility for kids safety on to somebody else. Plus, their proposal won't really help. It creates new privacy and access problems.
