That will make them stronger candidates and help voters get excited about them. Contested primaries are good for democracy.

The discourse around the Maine Senate primary is stupid. Of course the DSCC is backing the candidate they’ve spent months recruiting. And the outsider first time candidate doesn’t want DSCC backing. Then he isn’t the outsider insurgent! And if he can’t beat Mills in a primary, he can’t beat Collins.

In September Judge William G. Young ruled that non citizens have first amendment rights and the Trump regime can’t deport them because they don’t like their speech.

ICE targeted an apartment building near my home. Masked agents in unmarked cars. I've said this before. Democratic Governors & Mayors need to order their local police depts to arrest any & all unidentified & masked alleged ICE agents.

A mom in Houston reported her 15-year-old son with autism missing. She spent 6 days terrified, searching for him. The whole time, Houston police knew exactly where he was since they helped ICE place him in a refugee facility.

This is beyond cruel.

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.
