since will stancil has said some more bogus nonsense, i think it's worth pointing out that people with more influence and reach than your average citizen think stancil is some super-smart guy with listening to, so just ignoring him doesn't solve anything

Saying it's not only useless but HARMFUL to share protest safety tips because your protest is lawful and peaceful unlike THOSE protests shows what you think of other protest movements and the people the police abused in them.

Which inherently implies protests where people get beaten and arrested are "those kind" and must have provoked the police violence.
