I was a teenage werewolf. I am now a werewolf with a bus pass.

It is strange, is it not, to look upon a man who is not merely the richest in the world but the richest ever to have lived, a man who owns both his own sports car company and his own ROCKET SHIP company… and to feel for that man not a hint, not even the faintest glimmer of envy…?

Obi Wan Kenobi was a total snob. Mos Eisley wasn't a "hive of scum and villainy", it was just a working class stopover. Even had a decent band on.

Born 11 Feb 1940, Bobby 'Boris' Pickett, who had the 1962 US No.1 & 1973 UK No.3 single 'The Monster Mash'. The song was a spoof on the dance crazes popular at the time. He continued to perform his hit every Halloween for increasing royalties till his death in 2007. #MonsterMash #BobbyBorisPickett

Ofcom, Ofgem and Ofwat do exactly the opposite of their purpose.

Allowing the billionaires to regulate themselves, and punish themselves with joke fines.

You can now get Fangoria in the WHSmith on Streatham High Road - so I bought one. Not really because I wanted it but simply because I could.

It's a sign of a failing society that vital emergency services like the RNLI and mountain rescue are charities nearly fully staffed by volunteers rather than publicly funded agencies.

Bank holiday Mondays should be scrapped and replaced with bank holiday Fridays. Who wants to extend the abject misery of a Sunday night by 24 hours? Friday, Saturday, Sunday off is clearly the reasonable way forward.
