I approve this message. It's going to be a threshold issue for me. That and completely dismantling ICE, fully implementing the Voting Rights Act, creating a national living wage (with subsidies for businesses that need it,) expanding the Supreme Court, and admitting DC and Puerto Rico as states.

Any plan must start at complete reformation of our political institutions. Executive power, congress divestment, expansion of the Supreme Court. Then 👇; including Roe, codifying OvH, overturning Citizens United, rebuilding depts. USAID, DHS, HHS, DoE. Decades of work to reverse the destruction.

I feel this pain any time I write "the government did" some fresh hell. None of it is coming from the caring, competent feds I worked with just a few months ago. It's coming from fascism, wearing their skinsuit.
The media needs to stop writing headlines like “The CDC changes course on vaccines and autism” and “The CDC defends measles response”.
NONE of this is coming from legitimate scientists at the CDC.
ALL of it is coming from RFK Jr.
Every such headline is causing further harm to public health.

I keep saying this but no one is connecting the dots. The war is to satisfy legal preconditions for mass removal *domestically* of Latinos (i.e., suddenly a lot of people are going to be “Venezuelan” for purposes of removal). This is 100% Stephen Miller…oil claim is to make grandpa go along
There is no national security logic that would impel the US to want to do regime change in Venezuela. It's simply not that important. I'm not even sure wag the dog is the right metaphor for what's happening here. Seems like an insane misallocation of US national security assets and attention.
