Since more people are coming over here, here's my spiel

If you have the means to start a gaming publication, there has never been a better pool of young, experienced talent available to make something special. Anyone with the capital and motivation to start a website/magazine/etc should consider it
I was talking to someone at work and they were concerned about how recent sets aren’t available (something I personally haven’t noticed)
Question for Magic players:

Is there a perception that Standard legal product since and including Foundations is had to find? Excluding Final Fantasy, of course, because that’s always hard to find.
Of course, companies should let something like this exist in the first place
More game coverage should be like the golden era of 1UP.
According to Wikipedia, today is the 20th anniversary of The 1UP Show. I choose to believe this is true.

I miss this work. More, I miss my old coworkers. Still the best and most fun job I ever had.

I’ll let Jane and Eric’s killer tune race through my mind today.
Big same. I was obsessed with that era of 1UP. Still chasing the high of it. Definitely would not have been in the industry without everything that crew put out.

The NBA on NBC is back, check out the new intro with Roundball Rock
Maybe I just don't gear my decks for pure gas, and a game changer isn't going to make my chances of winning significantly better, so taking things off that list doesn't really do much for me
The changes that aren't happening, but have been discussed, are the real tectonic shifts in the format:

Hybrid card rules changes
Sideboards
Bannings/unbannings

Everything today was tweaking guidelines that exist, but didn't change what you CAN play, just tiny shifts in the vibes of your deck idk
Here’s my two cents on the commander changes announced today.

I don’t think things changed all that much unless you are adhering strictly to the deck building suggestions of each bracket.

You could always play tutors, Urza, etc. and build your decks at a lower power level to accommodate.
But his videos are good

If anyone knows of any technical writing/documentation jobs in games (or out! Medical, software, training docs, etc.) let me know! Not for me, but any leads are very much appreciated.
