Oh hey #portfolioday!

I'm Marina, a composer, sound designer, vocalist, & audio engineer working primarily in games.

Here's a snippet of my music work, but I also love making SFX.

I'm booking projects for 2026; email or DM me if you'd like to chat about working together :)

Nice! How's your jambalaya game?

Oooh, that's right! I forgot he was the guy.

And a couple more for the portrait sized ones.
Thekla leaps off the ring post onto Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale in AEW's show at the Aragon Ballroom. Davey Bang and August Matthews leap together onto Robert "Ego" Anthony at BloodStone Wrestling.

Looks like another #PortolioDay! For those who are new or don't know, apart from my voice acting I like to practice photography and specifically shoot wrestling shows. Here have been some of my favorites from the last few months.
Trent Wrigley jumps up for the Superman Punch onto Trevor Outlaw in Freelance Wrestling. Laynie Luck holds firm in the corner while Lena Kross tries to pull her out of it in 2econd Wrestling. Dr. Redacted strides across the ring all bloody at BloodStone Wrestling. A women's match at AEW's show in the Aragon Ballroom.

"A D'Angelo is a complex network of men, women, AND D'Angelos spread across countries. Earth and light."

I just finished watching Atlanta for the first time this year and now this is the lasting memory I have of D'Angelo 😅. Still sounds good, though.

AND D'Angelo!? What is going on today?

Wow! Drew Struzan AND Renato Casaro both gone within weeks of each other. Truly some of the masters of the movie poster. RIP.

Really? I feel like we just had one the other month. I'm not complaining. Love to see people celebrate their work.

Whoa! This version looks trippy! I wonder if they'll bring up Rita being from Pittsfield, Illinois 😆.

I have been genuinely impressed at the legwork he and his team does for his show to where it puts other news outlets to shame at times.

That's right! I forgot he was in both. And angst is appropriate for the '90s 😅.

Gonna be a bit before the sycamore trees 😅

Me looking around at the next No Kings protest.

Beyond the great production of these ads, I love how much I've learned from them.

And there's a beauty to the fluidity of storytelling in wrestling where a great performer can do both. MJF is a great example of someone who will do low-hanging fruit villainy, but also do layered character work where it makes you want to root for the villain even.

Haven't listened to it, but read the lyrics being shared around and yeah something about it is giving AI-assisted writing 🤨.

It really depends on the context and framing of the story. As a pro wrestling fan, sometimes all it takes is for someone to be an annoying shit we want to see get beaten up by the hero then we all go home happy. The villain served the basic purpose of their role and we're entertained. Success!

I enjoy both for having some peak designs reflective of their time period. I remember the cop simping for the rocker girl in 2040 was an interesting dynamic too.

Finally saw 'I Saw The TV Glow' last night as I heard it fits the spooky season. Man, I was not expecting the existential gut punch and immaculate '90s vibes that unlocked core memories for me 😳.

I've had my Zojirushi cooker for about 18 years now and it's still going strong singing it's delightful song 😄.

Visiting a new 55+ community and it's feeling a lot like the movie Vivarium here 😨.
