I saw a statistic somewhere that I wish I could find now, but its (minimally) several hundred.

A ton of organizers who are busy exposing ICE agents have shown time and again how J6-to-ICE is basically a circle.
I would love to know how many people who were convicted for January 6 are now member ICE

Their goal is to work us into the ground.

They'd enslave us for eternity if they could.

One way out, yall.

Cosign, about a lot of things.

Just because a thing is in existence, doesn't mean you have to use it.

I'm not bout to start using heroin just cuz its there.

Its a bad idea.

Thats how yall gotta start approaching some of the things in our reality.
i mean really.

really.

it doesn't seem very hard. just because something is on offer and in the public sphere doesn't mean we should praise it as if it were some kind of savior.

feels like praising tobacco for existing.

Its incredibly important to note in this story that many of these people screaming are CHILDREN.

Incredibly important.
As many as 1500 detainees at the Dilley ICE camp have erupted in protest.

Lawyers were kicked out amid chants of: "Let us out! libertad!!"

Detainees say ~80% are rebelling, motivated by the news from Minneapolis, the general strike, and the imprisonment of little Liam.

there are people, I am increasingly of the mind, that need people to say "hey, stop and think about the consequences of your actions for a minuite" and i dunno at this point I feel like the United States' collective denial of that responsibility is Why We Are Here.

As we grieve for Alex Pretti and Renee Good in MN, please do not forget Victor Manuel Diaz, who died in ICE custody after being taken from here. And all others who have died in their custody.
36-year-old Nicaraguan national Victor Manuel Diaz died in ICE custody on Jan. 14 at Camp East Montana in El Paso.

The Texas Nicaraguan Community on FB reports that his mom last heard from him on Jan. 6, when he told her he was planning to go to Minneapolis to start work in a restaurant. 1/3

And also, THE GUARDIAN, even if he fucking had a gun, in public, THAT IS LEGAL.

Even if he had a gun in public, that does not mean the state has the right to murder you in cold blood.

CNN: DHS officials have come to FEMA staff and told them to limit the use of the word ice…they are worried that by posting something like, watch out for the ice, that it's going to become a meme….

People already working hard to prove how perfect Alex Pretti was. To show he didn't "deserve" to be killed. But it's a trap folks. You're only feeding into a dynamic where people who are considered lesser get no protection. You don't have to be an Alex Pretti to deserve to live.

White Americans are learning once again that the *only* thing that has ever made you safe from fascism is being willing to sacrifice non-white people. That is your contract with white supremacy. "Give us someone else so it won't be you."

Under a zero tolerance policy, the first Trump administration separated immigrant children from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Data suggests separations are now happening all over the country, often after little more than a traffic stop.

I was a sensitive kid. I loved cats. I had OCD, undiagnosed.

When I was 9, a fraternity brother tortured a cat to death in my hometown. The details even now are beyond imagination. archive.is/xdmUL

I was traumatized for years from reading the news story.

The torturer? Now the head of the NRA.

I'm gonna tell this to all yall white folks that need to hear it.

If you're only becoming this angry now, you need to kill the white supremacist in your heart.

These killings are not new. These killings are not extraordinary.

They are the standard.

This is America.

As it always was.

I would lay down my life to protect The Archive.
