Hello new followers. I'm Josh Reynolds, the author. Not the football player, the artist, the other football player, or the Liberal Democrat MP. I write a bunch of stuff. Check out my site for some of it. Or don't. I'm not your momma. joshuamreynolds.co.uk

Australian witch and artist Rosaleen Norton was devoted to the god Pan, whom she believed ‘is the spirit whose body — or such of it as can be seen in these four dimensions (the fourth being time) — is the planet Earth.’ #WyrdWednesday

A really good collection, and a steal at the price.

Halloween Radio: Quiet Please
The Internet Archive/YT has the extant eps of Wyllis Cooper's unique late 40s series. Sound quality can be iffy but ck out: The Smell of High Wines, Camera Obscura, Some People Don't Die, My Son John, Rain on New Year's and of course The Thing on the Fourble Board. (1)

Let's talk about what the process of submitting short fiction used to look like, shall we? And about what it looks like now.

The last few weeks have seen me inch closer to two of the items on my bucket list, and I'm starting to wonder if and when that other shoe is going to drop.

Wolverine had one good story - when he went all Jason Voorhees on the Hellfire Club - and its all been downhill ever since.

The New Mutants should have become the X-Men, the new X-Men should have been spun off into their own titles and a new group of New Mutants should have been introduced.

What's an opinion about X-Men that'll get you sent to jail? Is Jean really interesting or really boring? Should Logan have stayed dead? Do you think a certain x-mens outfit is positively horrendous even though people seem to love it?

The Brood Saga is better than Dark Phoenix imo 🤷

New book day coming up!

I have attempted to self promote but utterly fail with engagement. I wish I knew how to do it better.

Anyway, if you’re after a bit of space opera/adventure/mystery then there’s always this!

Well would you look at that.

Truly spoiled with the Limited Edition of Krakenblood here.

One of the most beautiful books I've ever had the privilege of being involved in. Looking forward to everyone getting to pick it up this weekend coming!

Watched The Comedy of Terrors (1963) last night and once again struck by how well Price and Lorre work together. Price's Tremble (Trumbull!) is possibly his most unpleasant character. Just a ridiculously rancid waste of a man.

Happy book birthday to THE INFINITE AND THE DIVINE, which released in hardback five years ago today!

Thanks so much to everyone who’s taken the ride with these two on their ten-millennia tropical vacation disaster.

In an age lit by fire, only the most curious and driven souls turned a flame to the unknown. The least fortunate peered beyond the veil.

This World of Vile Wonder: Horror Tales of the Scientific Revolution releases October 20. Ebook preorder up now on Amazon & Kobo ⬇️

It's very good, though it reminds me a bit of a documentary at times. Given the director's filmography, that's probably not a surprise.
