So this popped up. In time for No Kings Day. An old call to remember those led for the better. I used to blubber over this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X_j...

An amazing model. What is the material? It looks like fired clay.
Scale model of Longleat lets you see how the current house is wrapped around an older one. And the roofscape! So amazing. By Robert Smythson, 1570s.

Has MAGA finally realize that Trump is insane? Shooting missiles over 1-5 LA during a NO KINGS ralley is not normal & frightening. He thought it cute sending jets over the Epstein survivors, but this is treason.

Bessent’s friends have huge investments in Argentina.

Elon Musk does too.

Bessent is sending $40 billion of our money to Argentina with more to come.

There is zero oversight. Congress not involved.

One unelected man is sending a fortune to Argentina and nobody will stop him,
Thanks the post. This a crime scene.
We got $20 billion for Argentina though.

Looking for recommendations of psych thrillers, paranormal, or urban fantasy

I published my novel Lander’s Gate and want to read ‘comp’ titles. My protagonist can access people’s past lives by touching.

Check it out. Kevin is a writing buddy of mine.
Thank you to @chantireviews.com for such a deep read and thoughtful review.
LANDER’S GATE by Kevin S. Moul – Supernatural Suspense, Conspiracy Thriller, Mystical

In Lander’s Gate, a man gains the ability to walk through the past lives of others. But resolving his own past means confronting a powerful and abusive doctor. Highly recommended!
I got a Kiffer sighting on the Roost today.
Great read. I finished publishing one book and felt pretty drained on what to do next. But then where was the marketing. Working on a new WIP is a slog, but I think I've taken off enough time. Congrats on British citizenship, by the way.

Today, Mike Johnson will continue to keep the House adjourned for the 71st day out of the last 83, with Republicans refusing to show up to work again to avoid having to vote on the Epstein files or negotiate with Democrats.

Epstein Shutdown
I lost my youngest son 4 months ago. It was a weepy time for me today (It happens out of nowhere) but while getting rid of some old files I found an envelope from 2006 with a note he sent me. Such a gift.
a hand written 2006 note from my son saying he was well and in good hands with God.
Very cool, Marian. At a book reading last night, I saw a stack of Loners coming in.
My Pacific Northwest mysteries are the subject of a feature in Literal Literary magazine today!

Dear Sean Duffy. The only one funding my plan for NO KINGS DAY, is my salad from Trader Joes and possibly a mocha from a favorite cafe. We know who funds YOU.
The Man Who Saw Seconds was a fun, intriguing read. When I met the author in person last April, he was grateful that someone got it.

You're the real weaver these days.
Ooh, looks like JL's off on another cool creative adventure!
Years ago, when I lived in Hawaii where I got a degree in weaving and textiles, I heard that indigo was growing wild up in Manoa Valley. My historian side led me up there with a book to identify the plant. I found quite a bit and brought it home. I made my own pot to rett it using H2O & urine.
