I'm an apple pie fan myself, and we picked up a nice one. So I usually under eat on the turkey so I can over eat on the pie.

I've actually never eaten pumpkin pie. I'm allergic to milk & I think condensed milk is a major ingredient. Not to mention it also looks mushy. And I'm not a fan of mushy.

Based on the number of times that I've been punched, stabbed, shot with arrows, and just plain ridiculed, I don't think I'm winning any popularity contests during my jumps into history.
But it's not like I'll ever meet these people again. So they can suck it.

Not to mention that Seattle started in expansion the same time as the Jays (1977), and they still haven't won anything. So they have that entire underdog thing going for them.

So, unfortunately, I do hope the Jays win, but I definitely won't enjoy as much as when they beat the Yankees.

Frazier - TV show (which I loved)

So maybe I think Starbucks is overpriced & annoying, but it still doesn't let me build a good hate for their baseball team.

The big problem with the Jays playing against Seattle is that it's hard to get a good rivalry against them. I mean, it was so easy to hate the Yankees. But how do you hate Seattle? They are practically Canadian. Hell, if things get too strenuous south of the border, we'll take them.

I'm ashamed to admit that only today did I find out that Norway awards the Nobel Peace Prize, while Sweden awards all the other Nobel prizes.

For all my life I had thought that Sweden did them all.

(I seriously notice no difference between having a postal strike and not having one. All my bills come by email, and I can't think of the last piece of normal mail I received.)
