I'm guessing from 400' away the ump couldn't tell either.

I've spent too much time rewatching that that piece of a ball game. I can't tell if the ball hit his glove and then the wall before he caught it - hitter and runners are safe - or did it bounce from only the fielders glove before he caught it - the ump made the right call.

I think since the outfielder caught the ball the runner from third had to go back to third base after the catch. The runner from second was already there so he had no base to run to so he was out when he crossed home plate.

I'd like to be able to tell you something about this huge solo monolith on the beach at Lækjavik Nature Preserve but there's nothing about it in my #Iceland geology book and my google-fu failed to turn up any geologic information.

A huge lava monolith stands by itself on a black sand beach in eastern Iceland. The slopes of mostly bare lava mountains/hills are visible in the background. The waves are close to the monolith suggesting the it is surrounded by water when the tide is in.
