Trying to measure coding productivity is, and always will be, a fool's errand.

Why? Because I can go for a walk then take a shower and have an idea, then write a single line of code that fixes everything I was working on.

Immense productivity, but by most metrics I didn't do anything at all.

My only addition to this:

• Tateishi-san now understands how many people love his music;
• He went to MAGFest & Kuwait, and connected with a lot of game musicians and fans;
• He released a brand new track with us last year—and YES he still got it;
• He’s happy now

God bless vgm and vgm artists 🫡🤘🏼

NEW: What went wrong with Dragon Age: The Veilguard? Why was the writing so tonally inconsistent? Why did it feel so shallow? Why were there so few choices?

Really, after ten years of turbulence, it was a miracle that anything came out at all. This is the story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Survival Kids is the real MVP of the Switch 2 launch for us. It’s fun to do tasks and solve puzzles together.

Then we tried out GameShare: 1 player on Switch 2, and 2 others on a Switch and Switch Lite. It worked great! We each had our own view of the game. Wii U tech lives!

Mario Kart World thoughts:

Collecting outfits is fun. Course design for lap courses is fantastic. Rainbow Road is an EVENT!

But driving to a course only to do a single lap on said course is just… not fun. I like the interstitial driving, but not at the expense of getting to do laps on the courses.

This is excellent news! I had thought that GameShare probably wouldn’t work to let all of my kids play together with a single copy, but here it is!
NEW: Switch 2 launch game Survival Kids uses the system's new GameShare feature to enable 3-player co-op using 1 copy of the game. Receiving systems can be S1s or S2s.

My story about a fascinating, little-publicized game...and why Unity is making it (for Konami)

An unexpected and possibly ground-breaking Switch 2 launch game
Survival Kids is: a) a surprise Konami revival, b) a game made by Unity (!?), and c) a showcase of a key Switch 2 innovation (!!)

I understand my game is pretty controversial. But I have a good understanding by now on who my target audience is. I posted the trailer in a indie gaming reddit page & it was downvoted to oblivion. When I posted on subreddits related to South Asian gamers the reaction was the complete opposite.
