People. Not Party. Support independent candidates, take back democracy!

Democrats and the other Party Establishments want to paint ATTAINABLE legislation as utopian fantasy because they would rather buy bombs and get money from Corporate America over investing our tax dollars in our REAL communities, infrastructure, and health!
Democratic congressman Tom Suozzi slams Zohran Mamdani as "a bad example" who made "lofty, utopian promises: free public transit, free college tuition, more public housing"

It looks like Victoria’s Secret is pedophilia and human trafficking. The hyper sexualization of our world was just a big smoke screen to normalize gross behavior. Both sides had access to the files and yet both excused this gross behavior to protect power and profits. Let them all EAT CAKE.

Rather than focusing on the left-right division, it's important to note that a lot of people in the US are sociopaths because capitalism is deeply engrained in every aspect of their existence. Many have no empathy, unless they have personally experienced something themselves.

Fighting for communities not special interests! This is what our politicians should look like!
New York City: The time has arrived. Finally, a chance to tell the city EXACTLY what your landlord’s been getting away with. NYC’s first Rental Ripoff Hearings are happening in all five boroughs, and we want to hear from you. Real New Yorkers. Real stories. Real policy changes.

I just finished reading of Life After Cars by @sgoodyear.bsky.social and @douggordon.bsky.social!

Check out my review on @fableapp.bsky.social!

“We need a better transportation strategy and Life After Cars does a fantastic job crafting the strategy. Dump your car…”

More people using cars to hurt people.

I’d ask when enough was enough but this is America. Americans are always “removed” from this horrors until it happens to them.

Guns? Cars?
Billionaires? Corporations?
DAutocrats? RepubliKKKans?
Different sides of the same coin.

You need to vote for independents or Democratic Socialists. It’s clear from this interview that Tim Walz is not in the side of the American Citizen as protected by the Constitution!

"I'm gonna give Homan the benefit of the doubt"

"They should coordinate with local law enforcement, pick these people up in the middle of the night when they're not suspecting it"

Walz is capitulating to fascists and encouraging night raids. Genuinely disgusting. Why would anyone settle for this?

A 2-ton vehicle has the right to be doing 25-45 mph but E-bikes barely scratching 20-25 mph is too fast? Make it make sense!

I hate to see it but fuck it, it’s about time that the Dems finally started punching back. I know I’ll be voting for this Map
trump creating the incentive and permission structure for democrats to do insane 2010-era gerrymandering of their own may turn out to be one of the biggest self-owns of all time. dems are now pretty likely to emerge with an advantage from the 2025-26 redistricting wars

This! The way disabled people are used as a scapegate for car brain just reenforces the fallacy. It’s cheaper to buy a shitty car than it is to get a motorized wheelchair; and subsidized by the idea of store front disability parking. Create other options and the disabled will use them.
Seems bad that Accessibility™ has become a goto excuse from corporations for why we can't have nice and beautiful things.

Can't have pretty user interface because Accessibility™. Every street must be a fuckugly stroad because Accessibility™.

Guessing this isn't actually disabled peoples' fault.

Requiring PPE for bicycle users is victim blaming. Requiring PPE each time someone leaves the house is only a bandaid to a toxic culture.

@vox.com just released this fantastic video on uncapping the US House and brings needed attention to @seancasten.bsky.social‘s H.R.4125 - Equal Voices Act! I really like Rep Castens bill and my member @beyer.house.gov should co-sign this legislation immediately!

A really great piece! The 250th anniversary of our country is a reckoning with failing systems we have been ignoring for too long. And the comparison of Minneapolis to Boston is more than apt.

Talk about something that’ll make me a believer.
If Trump had been struck by lightning and collapsed in a charred heap, I would have become an instant believer and attended services regularly.
Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast: "I don't know how a person of faith can vote for a Democrat. I really don't. *crowd groans* I know we have some here today. I don't know why they're here, because they certainly don't give us their vote ... they cheat."

Over a year into his second regime and still throwing around voter suppression tactics. The literal hypocrisy. Remember “every accusation is a confession”

Democrats will sit on their hands afraid of being seen as weaponizing the government by those willing to weaponize the government.
The thing that shocks me most is that all of this incriminating stuff was sitting at the DOJ for 4 years and Biden & Garland were not cynical or ruthless enough to use it against Trump & Musk in the run up to 2024.

If only they were the evil ‘weaponizers of government’ that MAGA claimed they were!

From the same man who told Democrats to not talk about Transgender Rights on the campaign trail is now telling candidates not to talk about Immigrant Rights. Seriously, when will @dpcc.house.gov @housedemocrats.bsky.social get NEW AND RELEVANT ADVISORS?!?! Seriously where are the Gen Z Advisors?
