The Republican Party is and has long been hateful and corrupt — now it’s full-on fascist, too.

Mike Johnson and Lindsey Graham have a lot in common, if they’d each admit it to themselves.
The power of their invisible friend and savior is strong.
Wait, a Republican is proposing a bill that will protect citizens from government vengeance, such as by aspiring fascists like Ron DeSantis? I’m confused. Today’s Republicans don’t protect people, and they especially don’t protect non-MAGA truth-tellers.
Wow! Watch the 10/27/2025 (now) @maddow.msnbc.com She lays out the absurdity and danger of Trump’s troops and the defiance and strength needed by all of us — now — to defeat them and him. Plus: ICE can turn Your cell phone into a recording device for Them.

If someone wanted to harm USA agriculture they'd do 5 things.
1. Deport labor, make work in USA inhospitable
2. Start tariff wars that end US commodity crop exports
3. Fire experts in transmissible livestock disease
4. Invite/subsidize foreign meat competition
5. Tell farmers how much I love them.
I’m thinking Mike Johnson’s earned plight due to sin is that he’s a self-loathing gay man who has to pretend to be heterosexual and pious. If so, his suffering is minimal compared to the suffering he causes.
Absolutely. Mike Johnson gives off big self-loathing gay man vibes.
I don’t understand why “smart” conservatives/Republicans like you, @billkristolbulwark.bsky.social, supported the policies and people who led us to Trumpism. How did you not see this coming? I’m not a political insider and I’ve known of the sinister GOP plan for 40 years.
I’ve come to believe that “Christians” such as Mike Johnson aren’t actually religious. If Johnson was truly God-fearing, he’d be terrified of going to Hell for protecting a pedophile president and causing the suffering of millions through the Big Bullshit Bill. He’s a PPP: politically pious phony.

May Melissa pay a visit to Mar-A-Lago.
To see if he even has a brain?

Alabama’s torturous execution style sounds like a good way to deal with those found guilty in whatever Nuremberg-like trials await Trump and his gang.
Potomac is a wealthy area. It’s also very Jewish. Many wealthy Jewish people have stuck with Trump due to his support for Israel and the GOP’s insincere efforts against antisemitism. Will Potomac residents speak out against Trump treating them as an asbestos dumping ground?

Creepy youth pastor Mike Johnson is a greasy little Trump catamite. Mike will soon be telling us those girls Trump raped or trafficked to Epstein through his teen beauty pageant should feel honored. A million fuck you’s to this pipsqueak DL Grindr cocksucker & anti-Jesus religious hypocrite.

Ross Douthat and Bret Stephens are essentially DEI hires so the NYT has “conservative” voices among its prominent staffers. Conservative former columnist David Brooks now correctly sounds the Trump-is-a-Fascist alarm bells yet isn’t required to apologize daily for fanning the flames that got us here
It will be so satisfying to see Stephen Miller, Russell Vought, Karoline Miller, Kash Patel, Tom Holman (oh, the list is so long) ranting and raving in court and then absolutely losing it when they are found guilty and jailed for corruption, crimes against humanity, Hatch Act violations, etc.
Bill Maher has always been smug and contrary, and he’s certainly not a MAGA Republican, but the ire of his single-rich-childless-white-dude-libertarian-esque sense of grievance and entitlement is almost always used to rail against rather then empower the sole party left to combat GOP extremism. Why would anyone need permission from a U.S. president or his estate or foundation to use video or audio of a public address?
