Nothing to do with your statement, I absolutely adore that statue because of its “softness.” I know it’s depicting something horrible, but it looks so gd REAL! And that makes it beautiful and alluring. A body like a Greek god? Give me someone shaped like a Baroque statue.

I seem to recall, starting with Forrest Gump, but especially around the release of Sky Captain using Laurence Olivier, but also Superman Returns using Marlon Brando deleted scenes, there was this fever pitch dream logic execs were clamoring for of bringing back actors as digital ghosts.

How come no one wants to reflect on the fact it’s not the democrats, it’s the tiny handful of republicans holding out with the democrats? When you control all the branches (including SCOTUS), if you can’t pass something then you’re not in control at all… look in the mirror you milquetoast dictators.

It took me a moment to realize that was a sheet, and not a desert dune with someone walking away.
I had a whole story in a moment of the woman facing us, wearing a white wrap/dress/robe, declaring she was going on the same pilgrimage in the distance to a worried friend…

I know there are people who are Prometheus fans, and I’m not shy that I am not one, however I believe there is an edit of that film that could make it feel much more—Alien. Despite disliking the movie, I think about it a lot. 😅
I have vision to edit something together just from existing film.

Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 needed Venom edited out, only revealed as a teaser for the finale of the film. The Sandman and GG2 storylines capped Pete’s journey to self-forgiveness just fine. Not great, but Topher’s Venom just muddied everything even more—and I know that was Sony, but, still…
