Ordered bookmark tests because $3 for four designs is fine. I went down to the store to do it but got confused and sidetracked learning why the online order wasn't working and was anxious and said too much and fled and ended up having to order online anyway.

Apparently they use Ingram for these things and this is just something that happens sometimes, especially with larger books. So it's not a preventable thing but a random issue and I am annoyed anyway.

Draft2digital suggested the shitty spine was because my book is too big. It's 592 pages. I have books on my shelf, some from self-published authors, that are nearly 1k pages with perfect spines.
I hope they figure out their printing issues or I'm doing print on demand through Barnes&Noble instead.

My son's cat mopes and whimpers and slaps me every day around 2pm because he hasn't adjusted to high school time and thinks he should be home by now. He will bite me and try to drag me to the door to go get his boy. It is very cute. Also annoying but mostly cute.

Spent two hours on Office Depot's site getting bookmark designs on cards, wanted to send to local store to skip ludicrous shipping costs but they're out of stock so there's angry growling happening now.

I'm very sad to share the news that our lovely @chaoticauthor.online has passed away. His ending was peaceful and surrounded with love but came far too quickly after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
I've known Matt for years. He was a warm, gentle, generous, all-weather friend. I miss him.
