Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year
We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

I don't know what show this is from, only that every time I see a clip, I have to watch the dude on the left to make sure he's actually breathing and not like a still image or a 3 second loop of a person. Show looks fucking exhausting to watch.

Eric Trump: "We're saving Christianity. We've saving God. We've saving the family unit. We're saving this nation. I mean, DEI is out of the window, Benny. You no longer have Colin Kaepernick kneeling for the national anthem. You no longer have Budweiser going woke as hell. All of this is dead."

People really underestimate how good that block button can make you feel.

God, have I really not reviewed a game since Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising?

Somebody hire and/or commission me to review a game for you; I'm wasting away over here.

(Or, if you're a media contact, e-mail is in my bio.)

It's been a while since I've gotten to write a review, but I have definitely had that happen. Months of play time with some little indie thing that you can beat in one sitting, but then you'll get a massive RPG with an embargo of two days. It's like they forget people have to play these things...

God, reviews are such a weird part of modern journalism. Codes don't come in until super, super, super late anymore, readers demand that you write them and balk if you don't have one, but then when you look at the numbers, nobody ever reads them. Which is a shame, because I love writing reviews!

I could have killed myself to get a review done - but I don’t do that anymore. I strive to have a health work-life balance. Plus, I couldn’t have spent so much time lounging at cafes with Haunter and Lucario!

I think the reason is that what I'm enjoying the most about this era of X-Men is the interpersonal drama and conflict, and those go out the window once the whole team is in space and has to tighten up so they can deal with The Brood (again) or the Shi'ar (still).
jcbaggee.thehomeworld.net
I've been reading the Claremont-era stuff in its entirety for the first time (I'm just on the other side of Storm losing her powers) and I have realized I honestly find most cosmic-set X-Men stories to be boring as hell. Keep those poor kids on Earth as much as possible, please.

What's an opinion about X-Men that'll get you sent to jail? Is Jean really interesting or really boring? Should Logan have stayed dead? Do you think a certain x-mens outfit is positively horrendous even though people seem to love it?

The Brood Saga is better than Dark Phoenix imo 🤷

I did a few Facebook Gaming streams years ago and it was...fine. But it definitely all felt like "a thing we built because other services are offering this"

Mixer remains the only actual loss so far as streaming platforms shuttering, I think.

Nobody talks about the real perk of being work from home, which is being able to do laundry while you work instead of spending all weekend on it.

Yeah, the line as a whole is great, but those two highlight the untapped potential.

I'm enjoying Absolute Superman, but it definitely is the most restrained of the line. I feel like it's going to really hit when it wraps up its first arc and you can re-read it as a whole.

Absolute Batman is a fun sideshow, but it is just so hectic and unhinged that it gets distracting.

If you missed Thursday's stream, the VOD for the D&D one-shot (which we're breaking up into two sessions because adulting is hard) is up now! www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4Oi...

Watch this space or join the Discord to get notified when we're streaming part two!

It's Wonder Woman by way of Berserk, and I love it so goddamn much. I wish the other Absolute titles took such well-thought-out big swings, honestly.

I am not paid by a King or the government. In fact, the government and its loser wannabe dictator seem to want me and everyone else in my tax bracket dead.

Occasionally I miss old Twitter, but then I remember why I split.

"(Twitter) simply became unusable. It stopped generating the things (good jokes, interesting debate, clicks) I wanted; it became extremely good at generating the things (racists, pornbots, racist pornbots) I did not."
