Yep, I use that. My issue is more that I'd rather not use Google at all. But, like I said, I supplement my searches with this form of google when DuckDuckGo doesn't have enough results for whatever I'm doing. I've looked into all of this stuff. My post really wasn't a cry for help, lol.
I already said it's my default search engine. I just supplement it with the stripped down version of Google when it doesn't deliver enough results. I'm a writer and I'm researching things constantly.
Oh, and DuckDuckGo is my default search engine, but I still find it limited for some things. I still end up using a stripped down version of Google for a lot of searches (I use the version where the A.I. doesn't insert itself, but I'd rather not use Google at all, frankly). And I still use YT. :/
I'm using Proton instead of gmail, and I love it. I VASTLY prefer it to gmail. Bear in mind, I was paying for a domain-specific email, too, and this is much cheaper for me, given that. I'm not sure if you can get a fully free account, but for me, it's a bargain, and based out of EU.

Bezos and the Walmart family have 800 billion dollars between them and don't pay taxes to speak of, but sure, the perceived shortages are the dudes trimming your lawns.

You ignorant fucks

I use them and they're my default search engine, but honestly? They're not that great. Results are pretty limited / thin. I still have to go to Google for some things. And I haven't found a good map program that works as well, either. But I'm still experimenting!

🚨BIG changes happening -- ICE leadership is being purged tonight. The old guard, which prioritized targeted enforcement operations aimed at people with criminal records, is being replaced with Border Patrol and Gregory Bovino's "Midway Blitz" style.

Think things are bad now? It'll get worse.

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

We have zero plans to put AI in LibreOffice, of course. Our focus is privacy and letting you control your data. Some users want AI features and they can get them via optional extensions made by the community – but we won't put it in the app itself.
At least in Apple's "Pages" you can shut the damned thing off. I've purged MS office from my machine at this point. I won't use any of their damned products. I'm trying to get rid of Google too, but that's harder (at least I'm off Gmail finally). So sick of these sociopathic, anti-human companies.

If you make 130% of the federal poverty level, you qualify for SNAP.

A family of four, making $40,560, qualifies for SNAP benefits meaning thousands of Missouri teachers qualify.

I’m tired of the bullshit. Most of the people who receive snap benefits work.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

Walz: "They are paying contractors to pay down the East Wing but they're not putting money into the food bank. So if there's a sense of frustration in America, it's very real ... when the White House press secretary said their top priority is the ballroom, we could not disagree more."

A breakdown of how SNAP benefits are interdependent with the economy.

Remember: they're lying that the funds have dried up. They have contingency funds.

And recall, SNAP is 1.5% of the federal budget.

They're starving people as a political blackmail. (Netanyahu probably taught them the trick).
