My Ninja Turtles card from Magic the Gathering was revealed!
Art from the Magic Card “Turtles Forever”
The four teenage mutant ninja turtles appear in a multiverse crossover. Donatello appears to be from the old live action movie, Raphael from the Fred Wolf TV cartoon, Leonardo from the Magic the Gathering TMNT universe, and Michelangelo from the Mirage comics. They are fist bumping and noogie-ing each other in front of a bright cityscape background. Ninjas lay scattered and defeated behind them.

What incredible work!!
(I’m going to post the diorama I did for a contest that no one liked bc I went realistic because you might enjoy it)
Painted 3D printed diorama of the teenage mutant ninja turtles. This one has Splinter eating ramen on a seriously beat up couch. Painted 3D printed diorama of the teenage mutant ninja turtles. This pic has a stack of pizza, the very disreputable couch, and is showing that the turtles and the goo on the floors glow under black light. Painted 3D printed diorama of the teenage mutant ninja turtles. This is the view from the above cutaway with the fire hydrant periscope and dumpster I’m super proud of. Turtles do turtle things with skateboards, swords, and books.

Donatello, The Brain
AD Stephanie Cheung
This was actually the last of the 3 pieces I painted for the TMNT set for which I was VERY happy to contribute to

Donny wasn't one of my favs until now - his single-minded dedication to toiling away in a cluttered space hit pretty close to home

Thank you!

And yeah Ran absolutely blasted it out of the park :)

Part of the fun was thinking like him, crazy setups that with a little cartoon logic, just might work :)
jasonrainville.bsky.social
eh sorry about that, I always forget. Can I add it after the fact?
jasonrainville.bsky.social
too kind! thank you!

part of my inspiration for adding so many of these jokey details actually comes from the action figures, vehicles and playsets. There were always little stickers/signs that had little gags everywhere :)

Ironically last, safety first!

If the worst should occur, Donatello can hit the big red button which will power an air compressor that will shorten a clamp, depressing the trigger for the fire extinguisher bolted to the table. Foolproof!

Thanks all for reading, I had a blast :)

The central contraption has multiple elements: a laser-pointer taped to a spatula fires a beam into the ooze while a Geiger counter hovers above. a camcorder (my uncle's, again with photoref) with a magnifying glass records the results, tho the tv is mainly showing Donny's dumbstruck reaction

I actually made a screen of a faux-pixel art game I called "Little Turtle in the Big City" that only uses the standard NES colours. Tho it's an 8bit game, a fake 16-bit system is connected, complete with dino stickers on the controller (another hand-me-down from me, as I did this as a kid :) )

Of course he's using a repurposed mouser head as a computer mouse!
