This remains the funniest way to hear about an internet outage, though.
I'll be staying up late for the A50/A500 Corridor action, though!
Looking at the order paper, I do NOT look forward to an afternoon of performative garment-rending and cries of betrayal. But it might be funny. ~AA
This third season is very silly or, at least, would be if they weren't all such excellent actors. I'm giggling at the funny bits as much as the twisty-twists.
Paul motherfuckin Jerricho, now! Early Eighties sci-fi is getting a second wind in taut political dramas!
Steven Pacey's bit part in 'The Diplomat' s3 cheered me up immensely. Always nice to see a surviving Blake's 7 alumnus in the wild. #DelTarrant

By rights, Farage’s shilling for Putin should have disqualified him from UK politics. He knows it, and is now trying to spin what he has said previously.

Fortunately, @sturdyalex.bsky.social has kept the receipts. Please do listen and, importantly, share.

I see Nigel Farage is back to claiming he "predicted" the war between Russia and Ukraine in the EU Parliament, when in fact he spoke AFTER the annexation of Crimea, to defend Russia and claim it was all the EU's fault.

I've just finished a rewatch of For All Mankind. I wish s4 was as good as s1-3 😕

Julius Caesar conquered Gaul in 51 BC and died in 44 BC, therefore all of Asterix's adventures took place over the course of less than seven years, probably much less since Asterix's chieftain was at the battle of Alesia, were it is probable Asterix and Obelix's fathers died. In this essay, I will

"I'm not surprised the personal attacks have started. They've got loads of lines: about my teeth, about my history as an actor, about my name change... the right just don't actually have a line of attack against me that's political"

Very much so. I know friends who have suffered coercive control and abuse, and seeing people enjoying the work of their abusers is hugely triggering.
