When a politician says: we’ll deregulate health insurance and send you a “freedom account” check, ask: freedom to buy what? If insurers don’t offer real policies or can cherry-pick only healthy people, that money is a coupon for a store that’s not open.

5 Democrats changed their position, getting 271 Republicans to change their position. The Dems got Snap funded & at a larger amount than before. The 5 Dems got gov workers fired during the shutdown (some 4k) rehired and gov workers paid for the shut down. The Gov is Opened. That's something.
