Pondering one's main character "having to" change. I think that characters is a must in a story, but it may not be the main character, right? Why can't my story have a Marty McFly who stumbles into the past, and changes everything around him whilst remaining the same goofy, loveable kid?

The vibe of the quirky movies of the 70s, a playful irreverence, I aimed to capture when writing “The Cult of the Silk Bathrobes”. Enjoying the freedom and risks I took while writing it. It’s not Harold and Maude, it’s not Being There but I think it has the “feels” of the Zeitgeist.
