My time in Canada is nearly over. I’m inhaling the last days here and letting it all land so I can take the memory of all its glorious beauty with me.
Done a lot less writing than intended but I feel fresher, happier and inspired.

I finished reading Dune here last year in the Sahara (second attempt, first attempt was when I was 12 years old). 40 C, sand storms, often wished I had a stillsuit.

In our corner of the world #byronhinterland where we live like hobbits we have had another weather event causing immense damage in our community (this never makes the news). I’ll be outdoors, cutting up de-rooted trees, helping the neighbours. We were the lucky ones. Extreme weather anyone?

It seems that a few people have reported that their handle is invalid. I searched the interwebs and the feedback is that it will correct itself. Is this true or do I need to change something #Bluesky
