1) some of the people in this chat are older than me—they’re not kids.
2) when kids talk like this, they face consequences, and often we ask questions about the people who raised them & hold them accountable too. The GOP raised these “kids…”

I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

It’s unclear what any of the companies in glass offices do. I don’t speak the language. Everyone is having a “one to one” & a “sit down,” they’re all circling back. The biggest issue for the girl in the Docs is that she used Uber Eats for the meeting but her boss had a GrubHub credit. This is hell.

The indignity of a WeWork day pass knows no bounds. The bathroom location is elusive, the hot desks are full, the space is crawling with girls wearing nearly identical blazers & Stan Smiths & slicked buns. Everyone is working, but only if you define work as clutching a MacBook while pacing the halls

I grew up in a working class suburb outside NYC. I know people who lost parents to cancer because of the work they did as first responders and the clean up working class people did after 9/11. Gutting the WTC health program is political violence.

Medicaid literally helped me get my MS diagnosis and get me on disease modifying treatments sooner, rather than later. The speed of treatment has helped extend my life expectancy & overall quality of life & I’ll never stop talking about it. To think that other young MSers may not have that chance 😢

Tried asking my congressional rep why he was one of 75 Dems who think we should show gratitude to ICE. He did what they all do-shut it down by invoking antisemitism. He’s refused to condemn ICE’s illegal kidnappings or speak up for Brad Lander. Hey, Dems! With friends like these, who needs enemies?

Elite?! The reason I have student loan debt is because I come from a working class family that couldn’t afford to send me to college. I also thought I made the wise decision to go to PUBLIC IN STATE SCHOOLS. But guess what? They still cost a lot! More than they needed to! Nothing I did was “elite.”
