When I was treating patients in primary care in 2020 and 2021, I would remind them that SARS was 2003, and new studies on its effects were being published 17 years on. Fact is, we really do not know the long-term (in decades) effects of COVID infection. Though I'm confident it's bad news.

Welfare in the US began in 1935 in response to the Depression.

White families were given more aid than Black families, if the Black family got aid at all.

Historically, there have been more white people on welfare than anyone.

And soon, many who pushed for others to have less won’t have any.
