Czechs have a fine sense of humour and irony, like the British (still the gold standard IMHO).
But some Czech 'black' humour leaves me cold. Some shit just isn't funny.
Most of what Turek has tried to dismiss as 'black humour' falls into this category I think.

Email isn't that new a technology... why can't people use it properly?
In the last 24 hours I have got 1 email for which cc was used instead of bcc, with 1 person hitting reply all for a query meant for the sender only, yet 2 people who I'm trying to connect insist on replying only to me!

Good literary translation requires understanding (language, culture, genre--on both sides of the translation) and an ability to write well. "AI" can't do that. There are no shortcuts. Treat your work and foreign language readers with the respect they deserve. You won't fool anyone with this.
