At the #StandUpforScience rally in Chicago, one of the speakers mentioned that the most important six words are "let me tell you a story" when it comes to trying to explain why science funding is important. The idea is to explain to everyday people how the work we (scientists) do makes life better.

As I've noted, central to Stephen Miller's propaganda is the claim that the Chicago complex targeted by ICE was "filled" with Tren de Aragua "terrorists."

This administration is flooding the zone so furiously that people have largely lost track of the lethal attacks on boats in the Caribbean, the gov’t shutdown, the economy, failed release of the Epstein files & so much else. It’s a tactic of would-be strongmen.
