You may remember, of course you do, how a certain 'independent' analyst got a jump in exposure by claiming that the grid was inches away from falling over in January.

Well, Ofgem looked into that day too and have released their analysis; TLDR: gas plant tried to screw the system.

The combination of EV policies & fuel duty cuts announced, sorry I mean confirmed, today is utterly bipolar.

Handing better off people a “grant” while penalising all EV drivers with a pay per mile tax, & retaining the fuel duty cut for ICE vehicles, limiting the savings of transition,

Agreed. We stop Russia in Ukraine, or we’ll have to stop Russia in Poland, the Baltics or Moldova.

Russia will not stop with Donbas.
Agree. Coalition of the Willing has to stop deluding itself that after a ceasefire on reasonable terms it will send symbolic forces to Ukraine w US backing. UK, France, Germany, Poland &c must invest whatever it takes to defeat RU in UA, or they will have to fight it, without US help, further West.
It’s not a “US plan”, it’s Moscow’s plan, dictated to guilty men in the White House. Setting aside the injustices being pushed on Ukraine, this would be a disaster for European security & guarantee a war with 🇷🇺 in a few years, in which, presumably, 🇺🇸 and 🇷🇺 are on the same side.
