But they were so racist!! I had never even heard the "N" word spoken aloud in person let alone by another girl my age. I backed out of there with my hands up. The south is a different place for sure.

I believe this is a large part of it. I am a white woman. I grew up in Oklahoma. My dad was my high school principal. He moved my brother and me to Louisiana when I was 16 and my brother was 12. There was a "sorority" at my new HS. The girls tried to recruit me.
