Her fiancé at the time, who “found” her, is the nephew of one of PA’s most powerful lawyers who is also a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of PA.

The uncle entered the apartment the day after her death & removed all the electronic devices (laptops, phones) belonging to them.

We’wha (1849-1896), a notable weaver and potter Lhamana (Zuni Two Spirit), took on both masculine and feminine tasks as a Zuni cultural ambassador and pottery and textile artist.
Also a spiritual leader, We’wha endeavored to preserve the history, traditions, and knowledge of the Zuni people.

When we pulled up to the conference with it's big INDIGENOUS IN STEM banner, he turned back to me and said "I wish they could all be like you." And I said "I don't."

He gave me a one star passenger rating.

A couple years ago I was attending an Indigenous STEM conference, and I took an uber one morning because I was running too late to catch the train; the whole way there the driver kept saying he moved to the US to raise the average IQ, and some thinly veiled anti-Indigenous racisms whenever we passed
