Lots of people need a theory of politics beyond “republicans bad, and democrats are unequivocally good.” It would actually help the Democrats win more elections. Both parties have high agency in what brought us to this moment of fascism.

I think today I'm just going to hibernate. An old friend died of an infection after successful breast cancer treatment. Another died after his colon cancer came back after years of remission. And then one more is no longer beating his cancer.

I spent the first 20yrs of my adult life without dental insurance and, therefore, without dental care. I now do my 2x/yr and just got done with my winter cleaning. The mental wellbeing alone is incredible.
We absolutely have to include dental care in Universal Healthcare plans, especially for kids.

Warm violet is my fave, but not repeated on the headphones.
Periwinkle is a lovely compromise, but then it *almost* matches the blue silk.

Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.
