All 50,000 panels of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt has been fully digitized.

You can search Duane's name and see the panel he made. And someone else made a panel for him, too.

We first note that hand-wringing about the decline in US college enrollments has mistakenly linked such declines to the price of four-year colleges.

But the decline is entirely driven by two-year community colleges (and by for-profit colleges). The four-year sector is the dog that didn't bark.

Although I don't drink... I do have a board game that's about vineyards and winemaking. It's a pretty fun play. 🍇🍷

Spending my Sunday morning scrolling the Sunday Cheese Review and wondering why there isn’t a decent cheese monger nearby 😢🧀

Guess l’ll make do with my grocer’s selection… oh wait… there’s a shoppe in Capitola 🤔
Caveman Blue Cheese from Rogue Creamery

Semi-hard Oregon 🐄 🧀 with blue mold. The aroma is the only subtle thing about this blue. Crumbly, but fudge texture and a few crystals. Strong blue and salt flavor, with a background of pecans, bacon, and maybe roasted root vegetables.

I do know that I need a better answer for when a student asks where I learn about the news.

We literally stamped it at the base of a 305 foot statue:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

We are now further away from the theatrical release of Raiders of the Lost Ark (June 12, 1981) than it was from the year it takes place in (1936). We have reached the Indiana Jones event horizon.
