"SARS-CoV-2 is too well-adapted to humans [hence, insert your favorite conspiracy theory]".
That was never right because, for one, SARS-CoV-2 is a pandemic virus so it necessarily had to be "well-adapted".

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

As a biologist, It really is a great analogy. Also trees. It's like saying, "There are trees and grass, you have to be one or the other." Ok... where is the line that defines "is a tree?" what about bush-like grasses? Palm trees? NON-tree palms? What about horsetails and their tree-like ancestors?

Interessant sak med flere gode poenger. Hvis jeg skal legge til noe, er det at disse ulikhetene innad i byregioner ikke kan bekjempes med transportpolitikk alene. Sterkere omfordeling av boligformue gjennom skattesystemet ville ha hjulpet.
Denne har jeg jobbet med en stund. Jeg argumenterer for at boligkrisen er uløselig knyttet til samferdselspolitikken. Hvilke boliger som er tilgjengelig for folk, og hvordan prisutviklingen er på disse, handler om reisetid. Men dette diskuteres knapt. www.morgenbladet.no/ideer/det-fi...

Ikke veldig imponert over resonnementene her, altså. Hva er mer polariserende enn å si at «man bør», gjennomgå svangerskap etter abort. Det er vel der det starter, ikke med «polariserende» reaksjoner. Her hjelper det tydeligvis ikke å være jurist, når tema er samfunnsspørsmål. Ikke her heller.
