Dear politicians,
When we say we want a #WealthTax and to #TaxTheRich, we're not talking about the middle classes, or even the upper middle classes and the pretty well off.
We're talking about the obscenely ****ING rich, i.e. those ****ers with more than the GDP of most countries - tax them!!

Rachel Reeves says on Laura Kuenssberg that she's asking working people to pay a little bit more.

This was all under the cover of a made up "black hole" whilst refusing to tax the super rich.

This Labour Government showing again exactly who they are and who they serve.

Agree. Note too Starmer's Labour thinks a pensioner can live on less than £11000 a year. Way, way below minimum wage. How about changing it to minimum income?
Budget hits the young in England

From 2027, repayment threshold for student loans frozen at salary of £29,385. Due to fiscal drag repayments will be sooner.

Graduates face 37% marginal tax rate

By 2030 minimum wage likely to be £29k. Graduates on min wage will be forced to repay loans. Why?
The government’s budget is simply managing decline
The budget does little to improve living standards or facilitate sustained economic growth

45 years of announcing that this time we’re really going to crack down on the scroungers and moochers, slowly realising this means starving the poor and people who can’t work, then having to lash together yet another fix out of cardboard and pritt stick.
"After this week, perhaps the socialism of Keir Starmer & Rachel Reeves is a little clearer"

Starmer and Reeves are as much socialists as you are, Trevor.
