No more stalling, once I get a copy of my data it'll be goodbye Discord.

In the meantime I'll do the rounds to try and follow good folk on other platforms, or (hopefully) via RSS 🤩

Last week when adobe said they were gonna discontinue animate I got really angry and started building my own animation program. I’m calling it FrameBoy.

I want it to be a free animation program for everyone forever.

Stepped outside for a bit and we got to enjoy an inquisitive Eurasian Blue Tit hopping around on a nearby tree.

That's it, that's the post.

Bases search is here! (early access) 🥳🤩

I know we could do stuff with filters, but it's so much easier to just hit CTRL-F and type. I just gave it a test and it's working really good for my collection of over 200 items.

the CLI looks neat too, might need to give that a try one day.
Obsidian 1.12.0 (early access) is now available to Catalyst members for desktop and mobile.

- Obsidian CLI
- Bases search
- Images can now be resized in Live Preview
- When deleting a file, linked images can now be automatically deleted with it
Anything you can do in Obsidian you can do from the command line.

Obsidian CLI is now available in 1.12 (early access).

So the data from Discord goes to Persona, which has Peter Thiel as an investor…

The same Peter Thiel from Palantir… that provides data analytics software to help ICE.

😩
Discord advises UK users that they "may be part of an experiment" where instead of their age verification data never leaving their phone, it will now actually leave their phone

broke down how I built the CRT effects on hypertext.tv entirely using vanilla CSS 🧵
hey! thanks :)

there are a few different effects going on here, and they're all made with vanilla CSS. i'll try to break them down.

this is what the general markup looks like. there's a television wrapper with a few overlay layers: the two we're interested in are .screen-blur and .scanlines!

Configured and installed a new font ( Maple Mono ) this morning for VS Code and Ghostty, next thing I know I'm blinging up my terminal emulators with starship and making it look all fancy.

Help.

Age verification?

I remember the horror screeching of connecting to the world wide web, and telling my folks to stay off the phone so I could finish loading the Neopets page.
Age verification?

I had to manually configure my SoundBlaster.
Age verification?

I remember having to use MOUSE.EXE
